The changing canvas of Colorado skies

An hour into a Concert in the Park, dark clouds began gathering over the Rocky Mountains. Mary wasn’t going to need her hat and sunglasses for sun protection much longer.

The clouds continued to darken and grow thicker.

When the concert was ending, the rain began to fall as a cool sprinkle but turned into raindrops. We noticed the long rainbow while we picked up our chairs and drinks to walk back to the Burnses’ home.

On the walk back, we saw the setting sun's effect  on the clouds over the Rocky Mountains. While we listened to music in the park, the Colorado skies also had entertained us with a colorful performance!
