Mother’s Day, graduations, weddings, showers, and Father’s Day are fast approaching! Think of the person you’re giving a gift to and match a Kup Kollar to their interests. In the photo we have gift ideas for coffee lovers, golfers, and Red Hats ladies.
Michelle from Pennsylvania shared her gift idea:
“The way the “You Go Girl” gift was presented was in a disposable take-out cup from a local coffee shop with the Kup Kollar around it. I tied a coffee ornament to the outside along with a pewter angel clip that said “Travel safely my friend”. Inside the cup, I included a TIDE pen, gift cards from favorite coffee shops in our area, a birthstone key ring and hand sanitizer. My friends absolutely loved the Kup Kollars!”

This beautiful Steampunk Sally mug displays an original Art Nouveau illustration by Chaz Kemp. Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction and speculative fiction–often featuring elements of fantasy, which became popular about 20 years ago. Literary and artistic works are set in a world where steam power is widely used either in Victorian England or around the 19th century.
If you or someone you know is into Steampunk, Art Nouveau, fantasy, engineering, science fiction or just like the beautiful art, I recommend this quality 11 ounce mug. The art work reproduction is excellent. Put a Golden Notes Kup Kap on Steampunk Sally because music expands all centuries.
Chaz didn’t use Steampunk to design the Herb T. Awanna and Louie Latté graphics on my web site. Instead, he listened to what I wanted then put his artistic talent to work creating these fun characters from a photo I shot of two mugs and Kup Kaps!

On Valentine’s Day, meet your special person at a coffee or tea shop. Give them a Heart Kup Kollar (cup wrap) in a Valentine’s Day gift bag with fresh or silk flowers. A cup wrap is a gift that keeps on giving all year long, doesn’t need dusting, won’t wilt, and has no calories. You’ll be remembered for your thoughtfulness every time the Kup Kollar is used!
Does your special person love cats? This Tea Tabard will give a warm glow to the person brewing a favorite tea.
Find a teapot with a floral pattern and match it to one of our Tea Tabards that has a flowers printed fabric.

Perry and I were invited to stay in our friend’s townhome in Woodstock, Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Because I have seen Asian decorator items in Diane’s home, I decided to give her an Asian tea set and matching Asian Floral Tea Tabard (tea cozy) and Kup Kaps (cup lids). I found this beautiful set in Denver while visiting Sean and Pam.
A beautiful setting for a delicious dinner and Jasmine tea!

Kup Kaps (cup lid) and Kup Kollars (cup sleeve) fit into holiday stockings just right! There is no need to wrap them. Instead put curling ribbons on the hang tags. They’re light weight so won’t be too heavy in the stockings!

Purchase a French press in a coffee or tea shop, online, or in a kitchen store. Next choose one of our many Koffee Kozees (coffee cozy) to keep the French press coffee hotter, longer. Put both in a gift box with tissue and add a pound of Kona coffee from Smith Farms!
For tea lovers, look for a themed mug and match a Kup Kap (cup lid) to it. In the photo, you’ll see a Teddy bear mug with a Teddy bears Kup Kap. Both sit on a box of Celestial Seasons blueberry tisane wrapped in clear plastic wrap tied with colorful ribbons!

Shop for a beautiful teapot set and match it to one of our many tea cozies with matching cup lids for a colorful gift! The Tea Tabard and Kup Kap are insulated with Thinsulate Insulation by 3M so they’ll keep tea hotter, longer.
One of our customers emailed:
As a result of one of the worst ice storms we’ve had in NC in a long time, we were without power for 24 hours. The power came on about 4:30 and the first thing I thought of was hot tea. It was still hot 2 hours later! Good thing because the power went off again at 5:45 that evening. We drink a lot of hot tea and it’s wonderful to be able to enjoy it for several hours without having to reheat it! And the tea cozies are so attractive and easy to wash! I just bought one for my mother-in-law for Christmas. She was quite impressed with mine when they visited.
Thanks for creating such an attractive and practical product!

Who can look at a snowman and not smile? Perhaps you remember building one on a frosty morning or creating one in a craft project. Snowmen star in songs, movies, comic strips, and books. They adorn our homes as collectables and smile from fabric prints.
I think of snowmen built with three varying size balls of snow, but in the United Kingdom and Japan, they are made with two balls of snow–one for the body and one for the head. Japanese snowmen have twigs for arms, pieces of charcoal for facial features, and a bucket for a hat.
Your holiday guests will appreciate these snowmen tea cozies and French press coffee cozies because hot beverages stay tastier, longer with no need to reheat.
For creative place setting name tags to use on your holiday table, wash a plastic drink container from your favorite coffee shop, fill with colorful holiday candies, slip on a Kup Kollar, and add a name tag. Your guests will take home sweets and a cup sleeve to use the next time they enjoy a hot or cold drink!

A neighbor shared her delicious pumpkin-bread recipe (November 2007 newsletter) with me thirty years ago. It’s a great one to bake ahead and store in your freezer. It makes 14 large muffins, 12 mini loaves, or 2-3 large loaves.
When your guests leave, give them a mini loaf from a basket set by the front door. Or use the small bundt-shaped pumpkin bread with a name tag tied on it as a place holder for your dinner table.
Invite a friend over, brew a teapot of tea or tisane, and cover it with a Tea Tabard (tea cozy). While you visit, the tea cosy and matching Kup Kaps (cup lids) on the mugs will hold in the heat. Enjoy a plate of your freshly baked pumpkin muffins and pecan pie pastries from Boonzaaijer’s Cakes & Pastries in Colorado Springs!

Knitters usually have a mug or glass of something to drink while they enjoy their habit or in my case obsession! Knitters need Kup Kaps (cup lids) and Kup Kollars (cup sleeves) because they’ll keep beverages hotter or colder, longer while they sit and click.
Your favorite knitter will love these gifts! I used curling ribbon to tie a Kup Kap on Margaret E. Fisher’s excellent new knitting book “Seven Things that can Make or Break a Sweater”. The pint frogged glass is available on Ravelry. I filled the glass with yarn, slipped on a Kup Kollar, and tied a ribbon around the knitting needles.
